Our Mission

To leave an eternal imprint of God's love on each child's life and to foster within each child the desire to discover God in a personal way.

Champions for children, partnering with families in equipping champions for Christ!

Our Volunteers

We carefully screen each of our children's workers and they are each approved by the church board.  Your child's health, welfare, and safety are very important to the Ashland Church of the Nazarene.

 

Children's Sunday Morning Activities

Faith Connections (3 yrs-Kdg.)

9:30 - 10:30 AM

Build a foundation that will support a dynamic life of faith. Exciting hands-on activities bring Bible lessons to life.

Kidz Church (3 yrs-Kdg.)

10:30 - 11:45 AM

Kids actively explore God's Word and learn life-transforming truth through sensory-filled learning experiences.
Kids become part of the story as they sing, dance, cheer, or make sound effects, to being the Bible story to life.
Kids will remember the story and apply it to their lives through drama, games, songs, crafts, and snacks.

Caravan (1st-6th Grades) Aug. 29th - May

A fun, character-building, Bible-based, Boy Scout-type program where kids learn practical skills in four separate categories: mental, physical, spiritual, and social.
Kids earn class T-shirts and badges for their sashes or scarves. Kids are taught how to use their talents and gifts to serve God through various ministry projects.

ATONE Teens

Ashland Teens of Nazarene Evangelism

We are part of a strong North Central Ohio District.  Part of this is the fun and fellowship with those from around the district. We participate in annual events and programs such as quizzing, BLAST (sports and talent), and camps.

ATONE Gathering

We meet every Sunday night at 6:00 P.M. and have a Bible discussion. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and guests are welcome to come play ping pong, or just hang out beforehand. Anyone in grades 7-12 is welcome. 

 

ATONE Leaders

Cindy Beecher leads the teens on Sunday nights at 6:00 P.M. in Biblical discussion and various activities. Cindy Beecher is the ATONE leader and coordinates various events. This year's NYI council members are: Cindy Beecher – President, Chad Beecher – Vice President, Brad Gipson - Secretary and Jared Whitt - Treasurer.

Sunday School Ministries

Sunday School Ministries offers many different programs & activites under the various age-group ministries.

"We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done." (Psalm 78:4)

Women's Ministries

Lunch Bunch: planned every other month at local restaurants as a means for sisters in Christs to enjoy one fellowship and growth, and to learn more about each other.
 

Secret Sister Exchange is planned for Mother's Day 2012. Forms, with instructions, should be completed and returned by April 29. 

 Your "Secret Sister"  will be exchanged on May 13, Mother's Day. Don't reveal your sister to anyone else! The celebration of exchanging will continue through Mother's Day 2012.

Prime Time Ministries (Age 55 and up)

Vision: To celebrate and nurture Prime Time adults as lifetime disciples of Jesus Christ.

Purpose: salvation, sanctification, spiritual growth and continued service of maturing adults. We not only minister to them, but through them. We regularly enjoy a time of fellowship, prayer and worship. We also help and encourage the younger Christians by being mentors.
