The following is the list of items currently needed. All other non-perishable food items are also accepted year round. We have a tote located in the back of the sanctuary for you to conveniently place these items. Thanks for supporting others!

What is NMI?

NMI is the voice of missions on the regional, district, and local levels of the Church of the Nazarene. 

World Evangelism Offering (Thanksgiving and Easter) Goal

We have exceeded our goal of $13,482.00 for the 2008-09 year (May - April). Our final total as of April 30th 2009 is $13,887! Our goal for the coming 2009-10 year is $10,615.

Next Missions Services

Our next NMI Service is on Sunday, June 13th at 6:00 PM. Come join us for dinner in the Fellowship Hall beforehand at 5:30 PM!

We have specific areas that we focus on each month...

     
May - Is There a Doctor in the House
Aim: To appreciate the role of medical missions in the Church of the Nazarene and how it touches people's lives.
Emphasis: Missionary Health Care
     
June - Sending Salvation Signals
Aim: To better understand how World Mission Broadcast is a cost-effective way (even a bargain) to proclaim the gospel.

World Areas

Mission Statement

Mobilizing the church in mission through prayer, education, giving, and interactive experiences. 

Our missions service is usually the second Sunday of each month at 6:00pm under the leadership of Pat Martin.

Our Youth Mission Coordinator is Stuart Reichardt. He will be helping our teens learn to put Love in Action during their NYI meetings on Wednesdays at 7:00pm.

Our Children's Mission Coordinator is Belinda Foster. The children in grades 1-6 will be learning about the Eurasia Region. They meet one Sunday a month at 10:30am.

Our Kindergarten Mission Coordinator is Anna Mae Beecher. They meet the first Sunday of each month at 10:30am.

      

What does NMI have to do with missionaries?

NMI is involved cooperatively in the life cycle of a missionary along with the World Mission Dept., the region, the district, and the local church.

  • NMI assists in sending missionaries to the field.

  • NMI supports missionaries in the field.

  • NMI welcomes missionaries when they return for home assignment.

  • NMI helps equip missionaries to return to the field.

  • NMI helps provide for retirement needs.

  • NMI helps develop future missionaries.

  • NMI prays for missionaries.

  • NMI educates individuals & the congregation as to the missionaries' works in the field.
